If you don´t like 80´s music, you can stop reading here. But if you on the other hand love everything about the 80´s from the movies to the sound of the records and more. The duo Powerkompany will put a big smile on your face with their new 2 part album Fever and Chills.
Soundwise their home is in the 80´s but also more physically in Athens, Georgia. The band features Marie Davon - Lead Vocals and Andrew Heaton - Orchestration. Their first EP "Comfort" was released in 2011 and it was followed by the LP "I am more than this" in 2013.
But it´s the new album that is my first acquiantance with these darlings, you can call their music anything from cinematic pop to art pop but you can´t call it boring.
Some songs will make you dance and other songs will make you sing, there are adventurous tunes on the album as well as radio friendly tracks too.
What a great start for the music year of 2016.
