A new destination for Rachael Sage

Award-winning multi-instrumentalist Rachael Sage is launching her 11th recording, a four-song EP called NEW DESTINATION in May, on her own label MPRESS Records.
Title track “New Destination” drew inspiration from Carole King's Broadway musical, "Beautiful.” After Sage left the show with an ‘I Feel The Earth Move’ feeling, she was determined to write an upbeat groove-tune on the piano with a classic, pop hook.
The EP also features musical contributions by longtime studio collaborators including drummer Quinn (Daft Punk), cellist Dave Eggar (A Great Big World, Philip Phillips), guitarist Jack Petruzelli (Rufus Wainwright), violinist Kelly Halloran (G Love), and bassist Mike Visceglia (Suzanne Vega). Percussionist Everett Bradley (E Street Band) also contributed as did Grammy®-nominated engineer John Shyloski (Johnny Winter) and Grammy®-winning mixer Andy Zulla (Kelly Clarkson).
